CE Class Covers Intown Housing Market Incentives

Recently, the Invest Atlanta Homeownership Team participated in a special real estate continuing education course hosted by Council Member Mary Norwood.

The course, held in February at the Yaarab Shrine in Midtown, offered valuable information pertinent to assisting homebuyers achieve affordable, intown homeownership.

More than 300 real estate agents were enlightened by presenters from Invest Atlanta, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. Department of Natural Resources and real estate law firm, Weissman, Nowark, Curry & Wilco. In additional to gaining expert insight regarding down payment assistance programs, historic preservation laws and title search tips, attending agents also earned continuing education credits front the Georgia Real Estate Commission.

Following the course, Council Member Norwood led attendees on a bus tour of twelve historic neighborhoods located near the Westside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine, highlighting unique architecture, community history and compatible homebuyer incentives along the route.
