The 2017 Business Client Experience Survey Is Live

Invest Atlanta has launched the Business Client Experience Survey to learn how our Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) team can better serve the city’s 17,000 small businesses. (Take the survey here, and please share with others.)
Atlanta is a great place to start a business. NerdWallet recently named Atlanta it’s #1 place to start a business, while Thumbtack found the city had a Top 10 small business-friendly environment. And Invest Atlanta assists local enterprises in several ways, including one-on-one consultations with the BRE team and a robust small business loan program.
However, Invest Atlanta is always looking for ways to make things even better for entrepreneurs looking to launch, grow, or accelerate their businesses. To help the organization do just that, the Business Client Experience Survey asks participants to share their experiences, concerns, and ideas about Atlanta’s small business environment. What’s working? What’s not? Is anything holding back further expansion? And the survey asks why, like so many other entrepreneurs, did they choose Atlanta?
Once the data is gathered, experts at the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) will analyze it and help Invest Atlanta produce a final report on the state of small business in the city. The report will lay out what Invest Atlanta, as well as the City of Atlanta, is doing right and what can be improved to assist small businesses more effectively. Survey participants will be sent the final report before it is released to the general public.
Previous surveys have helped deliver results for Atlanta’s small businesses. For example, after receiving feedback from emerging tech companies, Invest Atlanta championed occupation tax and license fee exemptions for new businesses classified as high technology, life sciences, and intellectual property.
