Keith Millner Joins Prestigious Group of Atlanta Leaders

Keith Millner, Invest Atlanta’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, was selected to be part of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2018. Together with 85 other community leaders, Millner will examine issues affecting the region. The nine-month program includes retreats, full-day seminars, service projects, discussion groups and community tours, and other activities.

“We are thrilled to welcome one of our largest, most diverse classes ever,” said President and CEO Pat Upshaw-Monteith when the participants were announced. “We are proud to continue Leadership Atlanta’s tradition of bringing together the region’s most influential, engaged, and creative leaders dedicated to working together for the greater good.”

Millner’s corporate and entrepreneurial career spans more than three decades and includes executive-level experience across a diverse set of industries. Most recently, Millner was Principal-Strategic Relationships with North Highland Consulting. In this role, he was responsible for identifying, nurturing, and monetizing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. In an earlier role as Georgia Market President for CertusBank, Millner led operations for the company’s retail and commercial business units.

He is also the former President of Nationwide Financial Network and has worked in healthcare, serving as EVP, Head of Sales and Account Management at ActiveHealth/AETNA. Millner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Guilford College and a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business. He also completed advanced studies in information technology/business strategy at TIAS Business School at the University of Navarra in Barcelona, Spain.
